Hello beautiful people,

I know I know, I have been awful at updating my blog quite recently, a billion things going on (exaggerate much; but I do not remember the last time I have had proper sleep! Nevertheless, I have had the best two weeks so far, lets just say it was all worth it! So, with that in mind, I have heaps to blog about, so bare with me…

If you love coffee and haven’t heard about Macmillan, cancer support, then please do check them out here: (have a #coffeemorning) Or, tea, if you prefer, like myself.. Coffee, does nothing to me, I just have a lot of natural energy!

Where to go:

Firstly, I had the privilege of going to a Macmillan coffee morning event in central; I learnt a lot about Macmillan, what they do, the aim of raising awareness and having your own coffee/tea morming! The team were so informative, I know they have worked super hard to achieve a lot so far! The whole concept really got to me, I made sure all my friends knew about it, also to have fun with the whole idea of supporting too! You can bake some scrummy treats: cakes, biscuits, macaroons, whatever your preference is! I will be baking tomorrow, so I can not wait for that, I love to cook and bake! Even if you’re not so good in the kitchen, you can always buy some plain ones at a cheap price, then decorate with style your own way; anything personalised looks better!

Next, I was gifted with some treats, from Marks and Spencer, a big caterpillar cake (I’m halfway through), with company it can always go down as a treat at home.. Floral patterned kitchen wear and homewear items, which are so girly and pretty, love it! I had to pass them over to my dear mother who loves the kitchen more than anything, she loved it! A mug, which I will be using! Oh, lets not forget shortbread which went down within days.. You can purchase them in stores! Let me know your thoughts lovley people! Thanks Macmillan dream team you’re doing exceptionally well, glad to be a part (supporter) and will continue to see your progress as I will spread the word, I hope you do too, you, yes the one reading this! *smiley faces inserted*

“When you have cancer, you don’t just worry about what will happen to your body, you worry about what will happen to your life.

At Macmillan, we know how a cancer diagnosis can affect everything and we’re here to support you through. From help with money worries and advice about work, to someone who’ll listen if you just want to talk, we’ll be there.

We’ll help you make the choices you need to take back control, so you can start to feel like yourself again”

As you are all fully aware, millions of being are affected by cancer, but, together Macmillan can support! Full support can be found on their website, with useful advice, a lovely advisor on the other end of the phone, dietitian. nurse specialists- you name it!

Macmillan made a grand total of (impressive): 186.9 million! You can get involved, every little bit helps, trust me, even a £1!

I have lost a catechist, family members and those whom I have worked with because of cancer.. One mintue, someone is here, the next they aren’t.. Not to sound very deep and dark, but life is precious, it is not until someone isn’t here, you realise how much they truly mean to your heart! Honestly, appreciate those around you, love them, stay loyal and always care. You can’t find better, you can’t replace them and mostly you can’t re live moments when they are gone.. It hurts loosing people, but knowing they are not around anymore can hurt! Those who are suffering with cancer, do not know if they are here tomorrow, I can’t imagine what they are going through, so every bit of help really does make a difference. Help others!

I’ve met some beautiful ladies recently, in the media, who were diagnosed with cancer recently, you would have never guessed, they don’t mention it, nor want to, they want to live a life and not let cancer beat them down! With your support, you can make a true difference! Support these strong people..

“Macmillan Cancer Support is registered as a charity with the Charity Commission ( registered charity number 261017 ) and as a company limited by guarantee with the Registrar of Companies (registered company number 2400969)”.
