Poem to brighten your Monday

Morning all,

I hope you’re well! Whether you are on your way to work, or back from a night out (was it good?! aha), on holiday or coming back from, or just simply at home (like myself) then I hope to inject a little inspiration into your day with a poem I wrote on a random weekend morning!

However you want to interpret it, is up to you.. Enjoy!

Morning thoughts.. 📝

Hustle and bustle keeps us going
‘Live your best life’ they say
But what are we really doing.. Aside your daily mask, show who you are
Darling, prevail, you’re a star
Admist your inner thoughts, be brave,
No one takes money to the grave

One day they’ll vociferate, until you bow,
Darling, there’s always a when, why, what and how
Don’t let confusion muffle your head
Youre bright, put your tears to bed

Those worthy will take time to see your soul
Not the Instagrammers on yes or no poll
Look deeper, spending time with you
Look in the mirror, put on the crown and let them que.
You are tired, , your struggles, will end
Show your wounds, darling don’t pretend
Light at the end of tunnel will rise
Youre human, its ok to break, don’t belive the lies.
Walk into the sunlight,
Prayers will be heard tonight
So blissfully unaware of your potential,
Angels are always here protecting you, it’s essential.
From Christine, 💐.

I was so connected to the words of that poem! It really speaks to me – the hustle and bustle of everyday, the exhaustion, the tiredness… and of course the breakdowns from it all.

Very Nicely Written. You have a knack for writing. Love your poems.

I am saving your poem in my “Inspiration and Motivation” files. Right now I am exhausting myself to the bone, feeling worthless and ugly, but after reading your poem, it has given me a better insight as to how I should live my life. It is tough, but like diamonds, we have to go through so much to reveal our real beauty and worth.
