Seasonal beatings.. A day in the big smoke!

Hi lovely,

I recently had a day offline; my boyfriend & I decided to hit the big smoke and enjoy life adventures to the National British Museum! First, we gathered around local coffee shops, then attended the amazing St Pauls Cathedral- bare in mind if you pay for a ticket, it lasts all year round- bonus!! So we plan to re visit in mid December when the golden gallery will be available to the public- which looks spectacular! Imagine, London landscape views, eager moments await.. We went into the whispering gallery. What an experience, it actually works; to learn so much about the history in certain areas of London was brillant, it’s great to learn something new everyday!

Sunrise coming through, what a start to a WONDERFUL day!

Inside the whispering gallery. My boyfriend was on the side of the building, whispered my name; I was shocked at how clear and loud it was! Can’t wait to go back and visit all sections of this beautiful landmark!

We weren’t allowed to take any photos, but he managed to capture a good handful; this was one of our favourites!

Next we headed to the Wellcom musem, but it was mostly closed, so I went to buy a couple of books… Because most sections were closed, we wanted to check what was closeby as we were int he area; advised to check out the National History Museum, so we did! We literally spent a good few hours there and was amazed at how interesting certain historics are! It makes you appreciate life as it is now and how easy everything is- technology improved at a vast pace! We were dying to take some pieces of history home, but even the small pieces that were on sale were about £££ hundreds! Doh!

1 of 3 anglo saxson iconic helmet! Wow!

View to a kill (James Bond esque?)

Next, we ventured to Pizza Express, yes basic, yes ordinary, but extremely convinent and super cheap! Two mains, two sides and two drinks, for under £45! I had a watermelon, apple, other fruits I have forgotten cool ice drink, he had an orange, along with a salad and I opt for the vegetarian pizza dish!

Gorgeous London views, we just had to snap them!

Food for thought… (I wonder what they’re thinking, knowing they’re on the menu..)

I wanted to try to vegetarian, it was okay, as I was super hungry, but it wasn’t anything too special. It didn’t satiate my taste buds. My boyfriend had a chicken salad and he hated it, it looked untouched, it was very dry and bland. Ultimately a conjilled mess.. The drinks however we refreshing, he noted that we should have gone to five guys, I wish we had! Ha

Find out in the next post which TWO cupcakes we loved the most and WHY…

The hustle and busle of Borough Market, full to the brim of life. Even at twilight hours! View!

Finally, some time to window shop, as Christmas is around the corner!

Don’t forget to keep your eye out for the next posts!
